This was just a short animation showing one of the skills stats, and using the puppet pin tool to move the fire around which is something I will have to do in my actual animation. Using the fire drawing, I scanned it in Photoshop, made it bolder by using the cutout filter. Then on after effects I created an animated fire. ‘Organization’ is going to use with the fire frame on my animation as it relates to getting things ready. One of the main problems was the number and the percentage increasing at the same time. It was quite a difficult tutorial so in the end I made it so the numbers increased to the right one and then added the percentage to it. Just to make this animation more understandable, I included the text at the beginning. I also made a radial background to link with the foreground effects and transitions. Unfortunately when I moved the fire image onto After Effects there were corners of it which showed up. However overall I’m pleased with the use of the puppet pin tool on the fire and this will help for other aspects of my animation.
