This is a 4 second experiment on After Effects for the introduction frame of my animation to show what it is going to be about. I’ve used the drawing of the graduation hat to animate it into the shot by making it scale down as it moves around the screen and also rotating. The text I’ve used 2 different fonts and colours so that the ‘Survival guide’ is more like a stamp and rugged type. I might explore other type by researching different guides and TV shows which use this concept. The background I just made it brown but I might create or photograph a wilder environment, maybe like army clothes or something. I will experiment and see what they look like and what other people think. I haven’t used any audio music as I will research that on the Creative Commons website to see. I might not want the audio to start at the very beginning, maybe a couple of seconds later. Overall I think it works well, the colours are easy on the eye for this to work. ‘Life after University’ text could be larger but these are small things I can alter and experiment with.
